After months of preparation, signatures and perfectly writing my name on documents. The late nights of uncertainty and confusion. The tears I drowned in as I thought of leaving my family. Everything I have ever known, I was leaving it all behind for an experience that would apparently be life changing.
My name is Bianca and this is how I moved to the USA to be an Au Pair.
Tonight I board a plane that will move me away from everything I know to everything I am yet to learn.
As I take a leap out of Johannesburg and jump right into Seattle, I am overwhelmed with emotion, jumping from fear to excitement. I’m finally going to be able to cross out one of the biggest things on my bucket list.
